Hiking - Viking Footwear

Lofoten has many qualities that are related to the particular landscape and climate. Viking Footwear has developed footwear in Norway since 1920 and delivers globally. Viking Footwear opens the door for Hattvika Lodge through a mutual partnership where together we will give guests the opportunity to test Viking Footwear in the world's finest scenery . Massive mountain ranges help to create many different weather conditions , and in the middle of this " værmaskinen " gets a test environment only limited by Norway's geography and product developers' ingenious . Langbua Spiseri

Hattvika Lodge has beautifully restored an old fisherman's cottage from the 1880s refurbished and established kitchen and dining area for 14-16 people. Langbua Restaurant is available for guests who rent the whole place , price on request . The kitchen can be used as a "self - service " or Øyvin and Geir 's chef service can provide chef services . Langbua Restaurant is authentic , rustic and oozes history , since the style of the construction year is retained as far as possible. The premises also works well as conference facilities .

Guide - Tom Guneriussen

Hattvika Lodge have partnership with Tom Guneriussen which owns and operates the guide company ; Lofoten Ski & Fjell . Tom grew up on Vestvågøy and know the surrounding areas very well , and he knows both western and eastern Lofoten after many trips . Tom holds even excellent skiing skills and will be a safe haven throughout the trip . Tom has repeatedly guided in freeride/ randonee camps in the entire country !

Lofoten Golf Links is a spectacular 9- hole seaside links course which has been beautifully into the landscape. Location by the ocean with an unobstructed view to the north and the midnight sun makes the path to a magnificent experience. Sea water hazards on several of the holes and sand beaches act as natural sand bunkers.
The Lofoten Golf Links , the sun can be your companion 24 hours a day . We are alone in the world to offer the whole 2 months. On Unstad you’ll will find Norway's absolute finest surf place. You roll it into waves most of the time . Some days it can be gigantic while other days of nice small waves . One thing is for sure you get waves so it holds. In one historical perspective started surfing as early as the 60 's. Hans Egil Krane and Thor Frantzen came home from Australia after having been some years at sea . Here they had tried their hand at surfing . Back home , they decided to create their own levels . Using covers, one of the beach boys their plates crafted you their own boards. The levels are now on display at Unstadveien . The season of Unstadveien is almost all year . Winter can be very good with waves constantly. December is a bit tricky because of the little daylight . Once February and March, with the sun is just amazing. Summer is characterized by great relationship so you can surf 24/7 . Fall is fabulous with decent swells while the water temperature is still good. In winter and a good nights we 6mm suit while in summer it keeps with 4/3 mm. Unstadveien has one very large swell window , meaning that it takes in waves from south to north . Best swell direction is still south. When most low pressure coming from the southwest makes it Unstadveien Gulf perfect since it then blows fralandsvind . Browsing takes place partly on the beach with great beach breaks . There are also small Peak can be class above . Right Since the stones can be epic . Here, the waves get really big . RIB

Season 2014/15 will Hattvika Lodge have rib with skipper for rent. The boat is equipped for walks in the Lofoten Islands and the boat takes easily 6-8 passengers! Tour arranged directly with the skipper and here agreed duration and scope of the trip. Offer is weather dependent and are subject to availability and weather conditions . The tour should be booked well in advance due to availability of the boat and skipper.
